The ISAR collection has received a significant update over the last few weeks! Some of the main improvements are as follows:
I) All data has been verified and uploaded;
II) All PDF documents have been updated;
III) More than 25 new initial samples have been added.
Most of the new samples come from the Massif Central (France) and represent the full range of igneous lithologies, from basalt to rhyolite. These would make ideal analogues for certain Martian sites, or for anyone wanting to perform complementary analyses on a wide range of igneous compositions.
