The ISAR, the synthetic basalts (two of which are 11AR01 and 11AR02), and the samples from Cyprus (one of which is 11CY04), will be presented during the 44th LPSC in The Woodlands, Texas, March 18–22, 2013:
#1 The International Space Analogue Rock Collection (ISAR) for In Situ Instrument Testing: Relevance for Martian Missions
F. Westall, N. Bost, L. Loiselle, C. Ramboz, and F. Foucher
(abstract 1397).
#2 Synthesis of Basalts as an Analog to Gusev Crater Basalts, Mars: Interest for Astrobiology
N. Bost, L. Loiselle, F. Foucher, C. Ramboz, and F. Westall
(abstract 1457).
#3 The Skouriotissa Mine: A New Terrestrial Analogue for Hydrated Mineral Formation on Early Mars
N. Bost, C. Ramboz, F. Foucher, and F. Westall
(abstract 1400).
The ISAR nomenclature has recently changed. Samples are now labelled by their country of origin following the ISO 3166-1 alpha 2 codes. This table has all of the old samples names and their associated new identifier.
More details about ISAR sample classification and nomenclature can be found here .
The PhD thesis of Nicolas Bost about the ISAR is available online and can be download at the following address: http://www.theses.fr/2012ORLE2027/document
A poster about the ISAR has been presented during the 12th European workshop on Astrobiology (EANA 2012) in Stockholm, Sweden.
The International Space Analogue Rock Store (ISAR): A key tool for future planetary and astrobiologicaly exploration.
N. Bost, F. Westall, C. Ramboz, and F. Foucher.
(abstract).
An oral presentation about the ISAR has been presented during the 39th Cospar assembly in Mysore, India:
The International Space Analogue Rock Store (ISAR): A blind test for helping calibrate the Mars-2018 mission instruments.
